The Cottage is a unique and special place to stay, nestled as it is into the peaceful desert landscape at Sanctuary Cove. Alison is a wonderful host, very responsive, helpful, and friendly. She made sure that the Cottage was clean and comfortable, with great instructions and nice touches that helped make our stay completely pleasant. Everything was in good working condition. We especially enjoyed the two breezy outdoor patios, the wonderful library, and the quiet surroundings. This is a place we'd return to in a heartbeat.

We loved it, wish we could have stayed longer, would choose it over any other local accommodations. Where else can you stay on a nature preserve?!

This cottage was in a beautiful setting! The scenery and short hiking trails right outside the door was a great asset. (However, if you are looking at trails on AllTrails, note that the Sanctuary Cove trails don't actually connect to the Saguaro National Park trails in this area. There is barbed wire fence around the Sanctuary Cove property.) You can also go just down the road from Sanctuary Cove and access the Saguaro NP trailhead. Although the cottage seems very secluded, it is really just a very short drive (less than 5 mins) to a grocery store and other services. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including some hiking poles! Alison and her team were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in this area.

As always, Sanctuary Cove does not disappoint!! We LOVE it here, & we’re back for a 2nd time. It is so quiet & peaceful, & is the perfect location for a personal retreat. We plan to return, Lord willing!! Communication is always immediate & thorough. Alison is the perfect hostess.

We love this place so much. Every time we come here there is an addition to the cottage to make everything more convenient for the guests.
