The Nub is a perfect location to explore mount desert island and Acadia national park. The location is private and has an amazing view of the Sommes sound. Angela was great to communicate with and gave very helpful recommendations. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all you need to cook a meal. Would highly recommend staying at the Nub.

I have stayed at a number of houses on MDI and this was my favorite: beautiful view, peaceful surroundings, excellent location away from town — but not too far, close to hiking trails and Acadia access, clean and uncluttered interior, new appliances, responsive host, plenty of amenities, forced air heat kept the cool nights cozy. We had a fantastic visit and look forward to returning. Thank you, Angela, for a memorable getaway.

We loved the Nub! It was a perfect location for our visit to the area. So much to do within easy walking and driving distances. The nub itself is charming; has an old camp vibe. Nothing fancy but oh so special and unique. Kitchen is well stocked (note no microwave if that matters to you), furniture and beds very comfortable. We loved and will miss the outdoor shower and view the most!
