Painted Sky is a wonderful space! Water views, paddling, dock for crabbing, and the fabulous sunsets as advertised. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Close to cute St Michael’s and Easton. It was our family’s second visit and we would love to return again!

We had a fantastic time staying in Maura's beautiful home. The house is absolutely stunning - as are the views and the backyard. Maura was incredibly responsive to any questions I had throughout our trip and leading up to it. Thank you Maura - we can't wait to return in the future!!

We just returned from a beautiful week at Painted Sky. Between the kayaking, paddle boards, fishing, pool volleyball, cornhole, foosball, pool table, bocce, bikes and countless indoor games, we wanted for nothing. The 6 pool side loungers made us feel we were at a resort! The huge firepit surrounded by 8 aderondeck chairs (with foot stools) allowed us to sit back in comfort while taking in the beautiful sunsets and enjoying some s’mores. Although we never wanted to leave the house, we took advantage of visiting St Michael’s, Oxford, Tilghman Island and several trips to downtown Easton for lunch, shopping and art! Finally, we cannot say enough about Maura. Her responses are usually in real time and we really appreciated her patience with answering so many of our questions leading up to our trip! You could not ask for a better host. Thank you, Maura! By far this was the best family vacation, EVER!

Our group of six adults and now 3 pre-teens agreed that this was the best of the many rentals we have enjoyed over the last decade. Maura's level of communication was unique and outstanding. The range of outdoor lawn games, kayaks and paddle boards for water and bicycles was inexhaustible. Indoor amenities great and to say kitchen was well equipped and stocked with basics for cooking is an understatement. And the pool, overlooking porch, large patio with barbecue and dining table were all used and enjoyed.

This was our second vacation at Painted Sky. We had a great time again, with 3 generations of family. Something for everyone. Painted sky is a beautiful home with so many amenities. It's in a great location and the grounds, with gardens, pool, bocce court, fire pit and dock are fantastic. Maura is easy to communicate with and a very responsive host.

My family has loved Maryland's Eastern Shore since I was a little kid. When I was 10, my parents bought a vacation home on the Bay and my siblings and I grew up crabbing, fishing, boating, swimming, cycling, watching birds and wildlife and learning to love the serenity and breathtaking beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. My husband and I got married in St. Michaels and we hoped to one day have a vacation home of our own there to enjoy with our two daughters and other relatives and friends. In the Fall of 2017, our dream came true and we purchased our home, which we call "Painted Sky" (see listing photos). As much as we'd love to be there every weekend and much of the summer, the sports and academic schedules of our high schoolers limits our ability to get away from home for now, so we've decided to rent our home to others during times that we're not able to use it ourselves. We hope that all of our guests will enjoy it as much as we do, and we aim to provide all of the comforts and amenities that we expect and appreciate when we've stayed in vacation rentals over the past several years.
