If you're looking for a affordable stay in walkable distance from the city this is probably the best stay in Manchester. We arrived earlier than the descripted check in time, just to drop off our luggage, but we were able to check in already. The host Phil was really friendly and showed us the pub and the room. If we had any questions he was there to answer them. The room itself is nothing special, but also better than anything else you'd get for that price. The atmosphere was a 11/10. We came back after a whole day of walking through the city, without the energy to do anything else. Walked through the pub, up to our room and fell asleep to the sounds of some guys having the probably best karaoke night of their lives. We couldn't stop laughing for at least 30 minutes. An experience I'll never forget, and one of the many reasons I'd stay here again! All in all I couldn't be happier with this place, because it's so unique and special. But it's probably not something for everyone.

Really great overnight stay. Lovely staff at the pub / hotel and Phil was very lovely and chatty, made my friend and I feel very looked after and welcome, like we were staying with a lovely family member. 5 stars!

Philip are amazing and very friendly we come to watch Man U match whith my friend he help to go the stadium and the place is very close to the centre and very clean I advise you to stay there Thnks philip
