AVOID! DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst Airbnb experience of my life -host wasn’t communicative/ responsive—didn’t receive check in instructions until AFTER we arrived & had messaged host multiple times/waited for 30+ minutes/called her. She then tried texting it to a number we told her wasn’t working, even though we had provided a different number -No “designated parking on premises”, only street parking on a very crowded street, also waited 30 minutes for a spot -the tiny kitchen table is not a designated work space -“Breakfast” consisted of old, stale store bought cakes and coffee maker leaked water -There’s a local tax you have to pay of €2/person/night that’s not included in the price nor the listing -There was a miscommunication of price with adding a third person, and upon our arrival, host and her husband yelled at us in Italian (we don’t speak Italian) and threatened to call the police -Tried to kick us out before check out -Airbnb did nothing to remedy the situation

Anna was so efficient and helpful, giving us recommendations for local restaurants which turned out to be the best food of our trip! The space is enormous, with everything you could need. The location is perfect, I would recommend to anyone staying in Matera, which is also, the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Thank you Anna!

We stayed 2 days at Anna’s apartment and did enjoy the place. With every needed convenience, comfortable, and very clean. Anna and her husband are two very nice people and Matera is really breathtaking! Lovely experience
