This is a beautiful room, well equipped and surprisingly roomy considering it had a double and single bed. It was clean and warm, and very picturesque outside. The room, and bathroom were spotless. I was also impressed that the was provision for a dog (even though we didn’t have one)

A lovely space to stay in. Beautiful location with an excellent pub within a 5 minute walk. The room was very comfortable and had excellent facilities.

Couldn’t really recommend this stay enough, check in could not have been easier, the stay was extremely clean (and up to a high standard throughout), Diane was very helpful and the location is fantastic for exploring the northern fells. I look forward to coming back.

Diane’s place was very welcoming and cozy! We were pleasantly surprised when walking in. The chairs by the electric fireplace was our favorite, spot to relax at the end of the day. We loved the added touch of comfort the throw blankets folded over each chair brought. The whole place was very clean and was stocked with anything you would need. From kitchenware, blankets, towels to brochures for local activities, fresh milk in the fridge and Biscoff cookies to go with your morning coffee. We also loved that the village the property is in was quiet and walkable. We wanted to take a relaxing and peaceful weekend away in the Lake District and it’s exactly what we got!(: We highly recommend this lovely place and would return again.
