Host was extremely flexible with check in and check out times as I was there with my family of 4 for an overnight stay. The wood burning fireplace is big and we made great use out of it as it was rainy and cold. The living room is set up nicely to enjoy family time together. All in all, great host and great place. I would stay here again.

Beautiful views! This beach house is a blast from the past. we loved the living room arrangements, so many places to sit and view the sea. proximity to Waldport was also a plus. The new floors are great. A quick walk to a quiet beach. We'd love to come back!

The scenery was beautiful. Lots of views of the ocean, and sunsets were perfect. The only real complaint we had was the carpets in the bedrooms. lots of stains and a slight urine smell. But it was a nice place to stay, and pretty close to beach access.

Great place with lots of nooks and crannies. Not many of the chairs faced the great ocean view. The toaster didn’t work but we called the number and they sent a new one. We also asked about getting a later check out time and they said, “Okay, 1 pm” However, English was a second language for them and something got lost and our request didn’t get to the local folk. Next time we will get it in writing! The fireplace looked great with the big rock thrust hearth, however no matter how many times I re-opened the damper (pulling it toward me like most fireplaces) it smoked into the room if the side door wasn’t opened a little. I guess i have too many years using a wood stove and a fireplace with glass doors. I gave up having a fire since it was too cold to leave the door open. The bathroom in the garage is good for emergencies, small children or contortionists: very tight squeeze! Thankfully we didn’t need to use it often since it was also very cold out there.
