Another great week at a great location. You could not ask for more than to wake up with your coffee, walk outside, and view the lake. We could hear all the peaceful sounds (even the loons were pretty active), and it was super quiet. The location is great for a day trip to Tupper Lake or Harrisville for some lunch. Richard is a fantastic host. He's super friendly, very helpful, and responsive. We even booked our next stay while we were there. Looking forward to next year!

What a beautiful home! The house sits almost level with the lake, so no long staircase down to the water like on many lake properties. The setting was so peaceful while still close to town. Dollar General, Twin Lakes restaurant and bar, and Clifton Fine golf course are all a pleasant 15-20 minute walk away. The home was well equipped with all essentials including linens, paper products, toiletries and basic spices. Just bring your clothes and food and the rest is covered! I would recommend this listing to anyone and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

Was a good and relaxing time with the kids. Weather was colder than anticipated so put a little damper on water activities but the house was great the views were great and would definitely come back again with the kids and relax.

We had a wonderful week at the Stone Cottage. Even with the rain, the setting was gorgeous, the house was cozy and the fish were biting! Rich was an excellent host and we appreciated his great communication. The Stone House bedrooms and bathrooms are new, clean and comfortable. Its living/dining room and kitchen retain the charm of an older Adirondack camp. We loved warming up by the fireplace after hiking and fishing, enjoying dinner prepared in the Stone House’s well-equipped kitchen. The location right on Star Lake - a deep, cold water lake - can’t be beat.
