Milolii is a rural community and is quiet and peaceful. Some of the things with love about Milolii are the ocean views, the trade wind breezes, the stars on clear nights, and the sunsets just to name a few. The hike to the nearby beach, Honomalino is great, and is a beautiful secluded beach (3 mile drive, then a 20 minute hike). It is approximately 14 miles to the nearest amenities. The home is located at a 800 foot elevation so the ocean views in this neighborhood are phenomenal. You would need to drive to the beach or shore. There are no stores, or restaurants in Milolii.

A rental car is a must, as it is approximately 1 hour 15 mins. to the Kona airport and 2 hours to the Hilo airport. It is 1 hour to Kona. You will need a rental car to access our home. The Big Island is "BIG" and a vehicle is a necessity if you want to visit the many "must see" things the island has to offer. Be prepared for a lot of driving and things are very spread out on the island but worth every mile.
