The place was retro, we went for our daughter's bday!! She loved it!! We loved it!! Very clean, well-maintained, and a beautiful place, it's a vibe when you pour a drink and sit at the campfire. The mist on the lake at dawn and the moonlight at dusk make the cabin serene. Thank you, Bongo, for a wonderful time, we didn't go to the Jam at the Tavern but could hear the drums while enjoying the campfire. Fall is the best time to visit South Algonquin. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our wonderful stay at Camp Bongo!!! We are surely coming back soon :)

Bongopix was a great base to use for day hiking in Algonquin Park. The cabin is located within walking distance of all the amenities in Whitney, including two sit-down restaurants, the grocery store, pharmacy, LCBO, and of course the Bongopix tavern. Bongo and Andrea were great hosts and fun to chat with at the Tavern. We really enjoyed spending our days exploring the park and our evenings having campfires, sitting in the tavern, and watching VHS movies in our cabin. We look forward to returning for another fun and relaxing trip!

We had an awesome stay at the cabin! It was spacious with everything we needed for a long weekend away, and being right on the lake was great! We used the canoes and kayaks and enjoyed the live music at night at the tavern. Overall a great stay!

We loved our stay at Bongos! The little town is cute and has all you need. The lake is wonderful and you’re close to tons of outdoor activities. The cottage is cute, retro and tons of fun! Ourselves and our dog had a blast. Highly recommend staying over a date that the main building is open. Everyone was so kind and accommodating.
