Bongopix is one of my favourite places! I first visited in 2016 and fell in love with this retro gem and the wonderful people. I always love the live music and the tavern is wonderful addition! Bongo and Andrea are the best :)

This was our second time staying in the Laker. We love this place! Waking up right next to the lake was magical. We had a fire, took advantage of nearby Algonquin park for some great hikes and wildlife viewing. Everything required to cook a great meal was available in the kitchen. The Tavern was a fantastic Saturday night outing with live music and great drinks/company. 10/10!

This was our third stay at the Laker and we love it every time! The tavern is such a great addition and St. Patrick’s night was a blast. We will certainly be back!

This is a real gem in Whitney, just outside Algonquin Park. The retro vibe is amazing, as I enjoyed listening to records during the weekend. I also highly recommend the open mic at the Tavern if you are there on the weekend. Great stay and feel - highly recommend!
