This is a peaceful and quiet place, which is what we were looking for. Although there was no kitchen, we made due with what was available and there were several restaurants available in town.
Stayed here for a quick trip in the Cambridge area. Mary is warm and welcoming and knows the area well. The Airbnb has great snacks and the yarn and field is incredible and really well suited for kids. There’s a river on the edge of the property that we played in with our one and three year old. It’s slightly challenging with kids and without a full kitchen, but of course something we knew going in. There are many beautiful treasures around the apartment, some of which we had to move so it was more kid proof. We would stay again - really special spot with a great host.
Mary's place was a perfect fit for me and my wife. We are in our 70's and it was just the right size for us. It felt very inviting with many of Mary's personal knickknacks and beautiful plants. The sleeping loft was warm and cozy, with the most comfortable bed I have slept in for some time. My wife would have liked additional heat on the main floor, but I thoroughly enjoyed the wood stove. Mary was always available and a most gracious host.
Mary and Skip were wonderful hosts. Their cottage had all the creature comforts, beautiful views, a large bathroom, and comfortable beds. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and went above and beyond. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!
Mary and Chip are amazing hosts and so fun to be around. Their Airbnb was quaint, quiet and beautiful. It was perfect!!!!

Now both of us retired we're traveling and meeting new people and seeing new places. But no matter where we go we come home and are in wonder of the beauty all around us. We're devoted to our family and enjoy spending time with them and entertaining friends. We garden, watch the birds and enjoy antiquing. There's so much to explore in the Adirondacks, Green Mountains and the lakes we're always having fun. I hope to offer a place of comfort and ease for people enjoying an adventure or appreciating the history and beauty of the area.
