We loved our stay at Mary's cottage. The meadow setting is beautiful, with views of the mountains from the lovely deck. It is set back from the road and very private. We enjoyed hiking, the warm gas stove, and outings to the little village of Cambridge, where we met many friendly neighbors at the Argyle microbrewery (in a beautiful historic train station). The cottage feels very homey and is well equipped and comfortably furnished. Mary was prompt, friendly and informative with communications. We certainly hope to stay in the cottage again!

I got this stay for my dad and his girlfriend at Mary’s place! My dad hasn’t stopped talking about how much he loved it. He said the location was perfect and peaceful! He said the house really felt like a home! Mary was extremely responsive and so kind! My dad is already talking about wanting to come back in the spring! Will definitely be returning!

I spent 3 months at the cottage after switching coasts and it was the perfect base to get set up and explore Upstate NY, Vermont and Massachussets. The cottage is in a peaceful, private and in a beautiful spot. After 10 years in the city, my dog absolutely loved being to jump out the patio door and run the field to himself. As for the cottage itself, everything is cosy and comfortable, the shower is great with high water pressure, the internet speed is incredible (and reliable) if you're looking to work remotely as I was. Mary is a brilliant host. The few small things I needed help with (the interent went down briefly, I had a package delivered while I was back in the UK for a few weeks) were resolved quickly and often with Mary going above and beyond to fix asap. I was sad to leave and really enjoyed going on a weekend drives around the local area.

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s place. Mary is an excellent host who is attentive and dedicated to making your trip a great experience. There is a trailhead in the backyard that leads to a hike up the mountain. Kayak rental is a 5 minute walk away. Our dogs did not want to leave the huge yard. We are eager to return!

Very friednly and attentive host. Clear instructions and accomodating. If I ever need a place to stay, i will seek out this cottage.
