Tanja is a fantastic welcoming host and gives great recommendations for places to visit in the local area. The house is gorgeous and we are so sad to leave. It is equipped with everything you need, and Tanja provides clean towels and more toilet roll every few cats. There were lovely beaches a short drive away which were really quiet at this time of year. We would love to visit again.

Het appartement is de eerste keer even zoeken. Het is een kleine 10 mins van een prachtige strand en restaurants en winkels. Een tip als bestuurder moet je wel wat ervaring hebben vanwege de smalle straten en af en toe steile wegen. Foto’s en beschrijving komen 1000% overeen het huis is superschoon en voelde net thuiskomen … Tanja (de host) is echt een topper zij had omdat wij in de avond kwamen gevraagd of ze nog wat boodschappen nodig hadden en had alles wat wij graag wouden klaar staan.. zij gaf ons elke dag hele leuke activiteiten en wij hebben dankzij haar leuke tips en adviezen echt een nog betere vakantie gehad.. zij had strandspullen voor ons klaarstaan had leuke cadeau voor de kids en de jarige onder ons echt een aanrader.. het huis airco de spullen de douches alles was schoon en netjes… wij komen zeker vaker!!!

Really enjoyed the stay at the villa. It is set in the quiet village of Kournas with nice mountain view. Kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi. Tanja was very helpful with instructions and suggestions of what to do. She was also suggesting events close by for our group during the stay. Although free parking is limited in the area we never had issues with parking 2 cars. I cannot recommend the villa enough. Will stay again when visiting Crete.

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Belvedere! It is a beautifully renovated villa with a private pool and was perfect for our group (4 adults, 4 kids). It has a gorgeous view of the mountains from both the pool and the huge living room window and the rooms are spacious and very nicely finished. The pool is lovely with lots of sunbeds and a shaded outdoor eating space. The house is in a small town with 3 tavernas that are only a 2 minute walk away. It’s also only a 15 minute drive to Lake Kournas which is beautiful and rents pedal boats with slides that the kids loved. The closest beach is 15 minutes north by car and has several nice places to rent sunbeds and have drinks and food. The Salty Goat was our favorite! Tanja is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome, offered great suggestions for things to do and was quick to respond to any questions. We would happily go back to Casa Belvedere anytime!

We had at amazing stay here. The villa was so lovely and Tanja helped us with everything we needed. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable - it was truly exceptional. We had so much fun - the town was beautiful, the people were so friendly and we were able to get around easily using taxis (Tanja also helped us with this). I would definitely recommend staying here!
