Perfect escape for the Easter weekend. We traveled with our toddler and the house was a perfect base for us.

Quality cottage in lovely surroundings. Some great additional touches, with the fudge and jams. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Enjoyed the wood burner. Highly recommend for this area

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub bei Susan und Jim und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Es war rundherum toll! Die schöne Natur, der plätschernde Bach vor der Tür, grasende Schäfchen und Kühe gegenüber. Jim und Susan waren großartige Gastgeber, total sympathisch, haben uns viele Tipps gegeben und super lieb mit unseren Kinder - die Kleinen dürften sogar die frisch geborenen Lämmchen füttern. In der Gegend könnte man ewig bleiben- es gibt tolle Wanderungen, die Küste und insgesamt die Natur sind spektakulär schön. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Both the cottage (and Jim) were fantastic. The cottage is located on a stream, close to local walks and around a 5 minute drive from Lynton. Very clean with all the amenities you need. Jim is a fantastic host and goes the extra mile to help you - whether providing a map of good local hikes or outlining where you can go to get local cider! Great experience all round

What a find! Idyllic location with running stream right past the cottage Hard to find a better setting Only a stones throw away to get to places like Lynton or Lynmouth ! Very clean and well equipped throughout Jim and Susan were only up the road if needed and popped along a couple of times to make sure we had settled in which was nice. Will definitely recommend and return Thanks again Graham Marion Alan & Penny
