We are a mini farm with chickens, berries, fruit trees, and organic farming. If this cabin is booked, you might check our Oza cabin. Both cabins are about a two minute walk to the Nolichucky River. We have two cabins located about 100 yards from the river. Enjoy the river trail, hammocks, and chairs by the river or just sit on a rock in the rapids and enjoy nature's massage!

Such a cozy little place. The property is beautiful. Relaxing in a hammock by the river was so nice. You won't regret a stay here.
First I would like Mike and Peggy to know I would stay there again and will recommend their cabin to people. The farm is so inviting and peaceful, just what a traveler needs. The river and all the gardens and especially the chickens made it seems like its own separate paradise . The GPS did not find the farm but a very kind neighbor lady helped me find the right road to the farm. Then it was simple to go and come there. I only wish I could have gone in the river (weather was still on cold side) and stayed longer. Sincerely, Kathryn
Wonderful place to stay and hosts were great and very helpful!!
Mike & Peggy were so friendly and helpful during our stay. We chose this location to do some trout fishing and Mike was eager to show us the beautiful river behind the cabin! The cabin itself was clean, cozy and exactly as advertised. 20/10 can’t wait to visit again!
This cabin was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Not far from lots to do, yet offers privacy and nature within the woods. They’ve done a wonderful job at making this place feel like home and they use the space wisely. We were lucky enough to chat with Peggy during our stay and she was truly wonderful. If you get the chance to stay here, take it. I highly recommend drinking coffee on the front porch and watching the chickens!

We live in Unicoi County which in Cherokee means "Valley Beautiful". Our property certainly fits the Cherokee description.We feel truly fortunate to live in this beautiful location, and love sharing it with others. We strive to provide a welcoming, clean, comfortable but simple getaway. Our property is nine acres with 1200 feet along the the Nolichucky River. We are less than a mile from the AT and close to other amazing hiking trails. The Cherokee National Forest surrounds the area. We have two cabins located about 100 yards from the river. Enjoy the river trail, hammocks, and chairs by the river or just sit on a rock in the rapids and enjoy nature's massage!
Free parking at cabin. If needed, we can arrange transportation with private shuttle operators to local sites and hiking trailheads.

My wife, Peggy, and I moved to this country property on the Nolichucky River in 2010 where we built a house and began developing a bee farm and homestead. We just retired from the bees but have egg chickens, blue berries, and a large garden. We are both retired educators. We are both avid paddlers, hikers, and campers who love the outdoors. We enjoy sharing our beautiful mountain view, river-front property with others.
