Carrie's place was great. It was well stocked and worked very well for my family. It was quiet and secluded and the mountains around were breath taking. Carrie and her husband Van met us and they suggested many places to go. They were great and we would definitely rent their place again.

Secluded and well kept. The sound of the creek running in the front yard and the fire pit in the back were wonderful. Comfy bed and warm home.

Absolutely perfect! Carrie was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The cookies left for us were also phenomenal and the location was exactly what we needed. If we’re ever in the area again for another Nolichucky rafting trip we’ll definitely be looking for this place for another stay.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Checks all the boxes. Super clean and well stocked. Comfy beds and soft towels. And Van’s Oatmeal Craisin cookies were delicious!! Already looking forward to next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hovey Metal AirBB and hope to stay again someday. The house was clean, cute and cozy and we felt right at home. The setting was so peaceful and quiet. (It was hard to leave!!) Van and Carrie were great hosts - always available and helpful; very knowledgeable about the area and how to enjoy what was around Erwin. And yes, the welcome cookies were delicious and thoughtful! We appreciated the extra touches - puzzles,magazines, basic food supplies, etc. Thank-you, Van and Carrie for a great stay!
