This is one of the most magical, unique places I have ever stayed. The pictures don’t do it justice. You are literally on an estuary, practically surrounded by water. The location is peaceful and quiet while still being close to town and all the stores and such you might need. As stated in the description it is very rustic, so if that’s not your thing this is not your place. For me it was perfect, and I can’t wait to go back again. Jan was very responsible and helpful.

An amazing time; the space was clean, inviting, and refreshingly secluded. The surrounding environment offered a beautiful view and we were able to appreciate various types of birds right from the porch! We loved that kayaks were available; we were able to go right into the wetlands and further explore the surrounding area. For being so immersed in nature, the space and amenities were very well kept and the outhouse was in great condition! This was a great opportunity for a remote and relaxing getaway. Thank you, Jan!

This location is absolutely breathtaking and we hope to return. It was easy to find, we have AWD so we could drive right to the site. The cabin itself was exactly as described and met our needs. Lots of cute touches. The kayaking was stunning and the wildlife was pure joy. We popped into town to enjoy the Farmers Market and to grab an ice cream. But we really soaked up every moment with that beautiful view and took a million gorgeous photos. The only negative encountered and something to consider (but were understood when booking a location like this, hence my review)- The water levels were down so the swimming pond wasn’t ideal and when the boys did try it out briefly, they found it had leeches. Hard nope there. But overall - if you are a nature lover, this place is just magic.
