Had such a lovely stay at The Mill. Such a peaceful environment and was a lovely breakaway. The place was so cosy and clean, and had everything we needed. We did have to take the dogs outside each time they needed a loo on their leads, as easy access to the road but this was not a problem. Quite far from local amenities but as described. We had some lovely days out, and super peaceful returning here. Would definitely return and recommend!

This is a really wonderful place to stay. Beautifully converted with a lovely big living area looking out at the trees and the mill stream . Sitting having tea in the morning looking at it all was the perfect way to start the day . We did many of the local walks - to Fowey and on to Polkerris - definitely recommend Sam’s on the Beach for lunch. Charlotte was a great host - very easy to communicate with . We did not want to leave and plan to visit again - it is a magical place to stay . Highly recommend it

If you see fingernails embedded in the doorframe of the clematis clad front door to Lombard Mill - they’re mine. I absolutely did not want to leave that idyllic bolt hole and had to be dragged away. Not all holiday accommodation lives up to our expectations - but this absolutely exceeded ours. It is a beautiful very, very comfortable, well appointed gem of a place. Tastefully and sympathetically renovated and decorated, you still get a very real sense of its history. Sitting at the table in front of the large window with its twinkly lights, felt like being in the canopy of trees, just bursting with spring colour. Watching the light fade and change - I lost hours and my shoulders were definitely two inches lower when we left. Fabulous Hall Walk is worth the pain, although my knees are still wincing and the old church of St Wyllow is extraordinary and well worth a visit. A couple of delicious lunches in Fowey (Bufala and also Appletons on Fore Street particularly good). Thank you!
