Seriously, this place is amazing! The photos dont do it justice, and the location really cannot be beaten. The house itself is beautiful, with a very private yard overlooking the pacific. And it’s right in the heart of Malibu, affording easy access to shops, the beach and LA. Kara is super supportive, and provided great recommendations. She was very responsive. We’d highly recommend this place, and hope to stay there again upon our return to LA.

This is a beautiful home nestled above the ocean with dazzling views, lush landscaping and abundant privacy. There is ample and very comfortable patio furniture organized both in group settings and private set-ups outside the main bedrooms, all of which have sweeping water views and sliding doors to their own very lounging chairs. There’s a nicely sized heated pool, hot tub and ping pong table. The house is a few mins from PCH and we had easy access to shopping while enjoying a series of excellent dining experiences at Nobu, Mastro’s, Duke’s Geoffrey’s. The Malibu Country Mart is 20-mins away and had loads of retail and quick service dining. The house is on a quiet road that offers access to a trail we took along the lower Santa Monica mountains for terrific hikes with views of the ocean and other multi-million dollar homes. Owner Kara was very responsive. I highly recommend this home.

Kara's place was a dream! Everything was even better than the photos - lovely home, perfect location (private and quiet yet close to everything), stunning views, and all the amenities, space, and privacy you could want. The excellent location allows you to easily get to other parts of Malibu and it's lovely beaches and canyons... or zip into Santa Monica (and further afield). Kara was a gracious, helpful, and responsive host and we had a wonderful visit!

Overall a great location to stay if visiting Malibu! Pros -easy to find -unique and clean space with amazing views of the ocean -lush greenery and lots of outdoor space -hot tub and pool -friendly owner Cons -pool heating costs additional $200 which is not clearly stated in the listing -was made to sign a contract (which had a lot of errors) outside of Airbnb and pay extra for the pool heating which is a waste of my time when all of that should be handled within Airbnb

Kara was a spectacular host—super responsive, kind and generous. The house was stunning and had beautiful views in every room of the house. It was clean, gorgeous, and had a beautiful pool and hot tub. Also, every bed was super comfortable and every bathroom had the most perfect shower! This is a dream house to stay in.
