A really extraordinary location and wonderful house. Very private but walking distance to the beach and restaurant. Amazing sunsets. Frank is a great host who knows the area well and is helpful in every way, and the caretakers Isidro and Magdalena are very helpful.

Beautiful house situated in a secluded, exceptional setting. The road to reach the property is not for the faint of heart, but the location is well worth the drive if you’re looking for tranquility, stunning views and no crowds, which is not easy during the summer in Mallorca. The house had AC in 4 of the 5 bedrooms and none at all in the rest of the living areas, so if sensitive to heat, please consider the time of year of your visit. The property is a 20 minute walk from the beautiful Cala Tuent, which is never crowded and almost empty in the early morning and evenings. If you’re willing to be far away from the hustle and bustle of a holiday resort, love spectacular sunsets, hiking in the Tramontana Sierra and are willing to put up with some of the crankiness of an older house, you will not find a better place in all of Mallorca. Our family had a wonderful week here and Frank was very helpful both before and during our visit.

Franks villa is a unique retreat in the hills of Cala Tuent, somewhere to relax and hide away from it all. The views are spectacular, there is a great local daytime restaurant (walkable in about 30 mins via the beach) and the beach itself is the best in the area. Frank was one of the friendliest, most helpful and responsive hosts we’ve met. No request was too big and he helped us a lot. The house was perfect for our large family and great for the kids. It was unfortunate the weather was so awful for our 10 days so we did feel isolated and unable to fully relax with no sunshine there but we took day trips to Port de Soller, Pollenca etc. The house is extremely remote and you have to stock up to avoid a 2 hour round trip to a shop or selection of restaurants. The house is very beautiful, and well equipped but not modern, therefore a little tired in places and we did have a couple of issues eg taps falling off and no water at one point. Frank couldn’t have been quicker to respond.

Franks created a complete oasis here. I spent one of the most restful weeks of my life here and it is stunning beyond words. If you’re anything like me, you’ll read reviews and they influence your decision heavily - I am fastidious! In short, book this place, it’s incredible. Here’s a few things I didn’t know from reviews about the area - you can walk to the beach in 10ish minutes (or drive) zero tourists & a lovely place. There’s a restaurant another 20 mins away by foot (or 3 mins by car) which is open for lunch each day and very good. You’ll want to bring food with you as it’s not easy just to pop to supermarkets but there’s a tonne of space to store/cook and you can buy beer/wine from the restaurant if you run through it all 😅 AC situation was good. Wifi was excellent. The outdoor space is INCREDIBLE - the sun sets over the ocean as you’re grilling, the pool is gorgeous - honestly the location is breathtaking - it’s paradise. This vacation would suit someone looking for some R&R with friends/family. It’s super peaceful. We will absolutely be back - Frank is a complete gentlemen and is super responsive. I honestly loved it - comfortably one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. You won’t regret it!
