Loved the fresh flowers in the houses. The houses were so comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and appreciated the recycle opportunities. Thanks for a great stay. We all had a fantastic time. All the options were amazing...boating, shell picking, sitting in patio admiring views and close enough to stores but very quiet and peaceful.

Loved the house. It was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Our 3 families consisted of 6 adults and 5 children and between the main house and the carriage house we had plenty of room to relax, spread out and enjoy the beautiful view. And our grandkids had a lot of fun playing on the grounds outside. I would definitely recommend this house especially for large families.

Fantastic location and very comfortable property. Very modern and accommodating for a large group. Kim was very attentive and with a large group (10) we felt like everyone had their own space. It's a great space for an extended family to get together with access to Acadia and surrounding towns.

We rented the Cottage and Main House for a family reunion of 8 adults and 6 children (ages 6-15). The property is located on an incredibly beautiful cove with amazing views from both the main house and the cottage (set behind but higher than the main house). The view does not get old and it was amazing to wake up to every morning. Both properties are well updated and very comfortable. There is a canoe for use of the renters and the protected cove is truly a gem. While we were there there were a couple of times where there were small waves from an inbound wind but more often it was very calm, sometimes like glass. The shoreline is incredible and with a 10 ft change of tidal depth, low tide and high tide are like two different beaches. You have to see it to believe it. Also, on clear days as the just before the sun sets it will bath the cove in a golden light and all you can say is "wow". Acadia offers seemingly endless options for outdoor activities or shopping in Bar Harbor and the smaller towns. Southwest Harbor is the closest town to the property and only about 10-15 minutes away. There is a small market there (and a couple closer), shops, a library, restaurants, and a well stocked drug store. One Tip - With healthy rain the area has had, there was no shortage of mosquitoes on the property but easily managed by wearing bug repellent. Would highly recommend this property and its owners.
