The Sugarhouse is a great place for a couple to stay, which is both rustic and comfortable. The location is both convenient to town and secluded and peaceful. The host is also very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

The sugarhouse is a delightful, peaceful& historic airbnb! As we are cooks, we really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen! We also appreciated the warmth of the place & the ambiance with the small gas log stove! And thank goodness - no TV. Reading, relaxing & catching up with my partner!! The house is on a landtrust meaning that it is quiet & private. Lots of area to walk around or do a short hike. While we dont have a dog, this place is ideal for a family dog! We look forward to a future visit & the opportunity to spend more time in Brattleboro, VT.

One of my favorite Airbnb stays to date. This cozy renovated sugarhouse was the perfect 4-day Vermont getaway. We loved staying on the grounds of Scott Farm; it was so peaceful, private, and off-the-beaten-path. The interior was spotlessly clean - as if we were the first ones to ever step foot inside. And we love that our dog was allowed! The kitchen was cute and well-stocked for cooking. It was nice to be in close proximity to Brattleboro, where we went to the movies and got a nice dinner. All around a lovely stay; I hope to return one day soon.

This was my second stay at the Sugarhouse, and I loved it as much as I did the first time around. I come up for a week to work in peace and quiet, and also to take long relaxing walks with my dog. The location is excellent for all that. Plus it’s easy to get in the car to explore other local spots. One feels away from it all instantly, although if you need any supplies, it’s a quick drive down the hill for an ATM, grocery store, restaurants etc. There are some fabulous cheesemakers within 20-25 minutes too. The Sugarhouse is always neat and tidy at check in. The home is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. If you’re traveling with a dog, it’s a wonderful place to stay, so welcoming for two-legged and 4-legged beings! Our stay coincided with the flooding further north, and I so appreciated Michele checking in to make sure everything and everyone at the house was okay. Can’t wait to return!
