Private home on 10 acres. Slow down and enjoy the peace and solitude of rural Vermont country living. Forest, dirt roads and natural beauty surround our home. Just a few minutes from Putney, VT & I91 exit 4. Enjoy easy access to orchards, hiking trails, farmers markets and swimming holes. 10 minutes to Brattleboro, VT; 40 minutes to Mt. Snow; 55 minutes to Stratton & Okemo ski resorts. This is a private home sitting on 10 acres. We are family friendly and well behaved dogs are permitted for an additional fee. Downstairs offers a family room equipped with board games, arts and crafts corner, and a large sectional that has a queen pullout. This room has doors that can be closed and used as an extra sleeping space as well as a 65inch smart TV with access to Hulu, Prime, Netflix and Apple TV. The main living/dining space is open concept and includes comfortable seating and a large dining room table off the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy a full tea and coffee bar with Nespresso maker, water kettle and pour over coffee maker. Appliances include Air-fryer, Toaster, Dishwasher, Gas Stovetop, Refrigerator & Microwave. The Downstairs bathroom is spacious and offers a glass shower and washer/dryer as well as extra bedding , towels, hair dryer, iron & small ironing board. Upstairs has a large bedroom with a king bed and en suite living area equipped with Peloton, yoga mats and light weights. Surrounded by windows, you will love waking up in this room encompassed by trees. The upstairs landing has a comfortable chair swing, perfect for a child who is excited to curl up with their book or an iPad, as well as two guitars guests are welcome to use. The upstairs has one small bathroom that includes a bathtub. Two smaller bedrooms, both equipped with smart TVs, have a queen and full bed respectively. A twin air mattress is also available upon request. All rooms in the home are equipped with smart speakers (Alexa). There is much to do outside! Basketball hoop on the garage, trampoline, fire pit, gardens, grassy lawns, tree swings and plenty of forest and windy dirt roads to explore by bike, car or foot.

We enjoyed our stay in the house! The house is very spacious and perfectly equipped. It was frozen outside, but when we entered inside the pellet stove was on! The atmosphere in the house is warm and welcoming! Thank you, Antonia for making our stay in your place so enjoyable!
My wife and I stayed here with our dog for two days in February. The pictures cannot tell the full story. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Artful interior design and amazingly comfortable. Quiet retreat with every kitchen appliance you could ever need. Antonia made check in/check out clear and easy. There are several food co-ops and general stores within a few minutes drive that feature full deli counters for breakfasts and sandwiches. We could not have been happier. We had great cell service/internet even without using her wifi, but make sure you have everything mapped out on your GPS before you get too far away, because it is hard to get a signal further out on the nearby roads. A fantastic spot!
The most comfortable home to meet up with dear friends. We cooked and talked all weekend, would highly recommend for relaxing, peaceful stay.
My Husband and I have stayed at our fair share of Airbnb’s all over the east coast, including Canada.. Antonia’s was by far our favorite! The house was so beautiful and cozy. It was clean, well stocked and had all the necessary amenities and more. The layout of the house also allowed for space to step away and decompress if need be. Antonia was responsive, kind and even left up the Christmas tree per our request. The location was ideal for us as we have family in both Brattleboro and Chester. We’d love to come back and stay in the summer and fall! I would HIGHLY recommend booking here.. I have only excellent things to say about our experience.
Beautiful home with lots of amenities. Not far from Brattleboro, easy to find. Antonia was very responsive and helpful. Heating was slightly annoying to manage but we were warm after figuring it out. All in all we had a good stay and I would go back again.

We are located on a private road. This is a quiet rural neighborhood with dirt roads and kind people. Conveniently located 1.5 miles from the Putney Co-op, town library, Putney Diner, Gleanery, The Putney General Store, Next Stage and a short drive to Orchards, farmers markets, hiking trails and swimming holes! Be aware that the the home has a dirt driveway and is on dirt roads. All wheel drive and/or snow tires are important in snowy/icy/muddy conditions.
