Molly’s wonderful cottage was the perfect place for our weekend getaway with friends. Located right next to the Virginia Creeper trail made for easy biking and walking with beautiful scenery. The cottage and the barn apt.were clean and comfortable. The fire pit was grand and the little ones loved the arts and crafts. We can’t wait to go back.

Second year in a row we’ve stayed here to enjoy the creeper trail. So close to it but plenty of privacy still. Lots of places to spread out inside and outside.

This is our second time staying at this home. The first trip was a little warmer and we hiked and saw wild horses and biked the Creeper Trail. This trip we took an easy day trip over to Boone for some snow tubing and enjoyed seeing the light snow dusting on the Christmas trees on the upper part of the property. The property is gorgeous and the house has everything you need to feel at home. My kids love the games, chess sits out on a little game nook table and they like bringing a Frisbee to shoot at the Frisbee golf goal in the backyard. I always bring easy meals and appreciate that the kitchen has everything that I need. we have noted that the layout of the house makes it feel spacious even when it is full! You won't regret a visit!

We stayed at Molly's place and rented both the house and the biker's loft. We had a group of 8. There was plenty of room for all of us (in the house alone) but had decided to include the bikers loft for additional space. Both the house and the loft were well equipped with everything you needed from kitchen to living area to bedroom and fully equipped bathrooms. It was a great place to retreat and have some quality family time. We were fortunate enough to have good weather where we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit one night. We also squeezed in a play and a nice dinner in Abingdon (not too far away). Additionally we did a hike in Grayson Highlands. It's a great retreat for families, friends or even just a couple (would recommend the biker's loft if just 2 people). Molly/Jeanette were super responsive. It was a great find and we hope to return in the future. Highly recommend!

Loved this house and the easy access to the creeper trail. Lots of space outside for the kids to play and they loved the playhouse. In addition, the playground at green cove is biking/walking distance. Would definitely book again!
