We booked a three night stay at Elizabeth’s place in April 2024. It was perfect! Easy to find, an absolutely gorgeous setting and a warm welcome made it stand out. We were greeted with delicious homemade scones, milk and a bottle of wine. Elizabeth came over to show us where everything was. The house was spotlessly clean and felt comfortable right away. Our dogs were happy as can be, although they were a little unsure of the sheep in the neighbouring field! We slept peacefully in the comfy beds and enjoyed the views with our morning coffee. I’d definitely book again!

We came up to Cumbria for a family wedding and stayed for a weekend. We had a wonderful time in beautiful surroundings. Elizabeth was a great host and welcomed us with nice treats. The home was very comfortable and as described. We hope to come back for a longer stay when it’s a bit warmer. Although we had beautiful weather during our brief stay. Many thanks

We loved the view, especially from the double bedroom and living area, and managed to dodge the showers to get out walking most days. The house felt so homely and comfortable and fitting 6 adults comfortable. Elizabeth was so attentive and responded quickly meeting us in person at the start and end of our stay. I would highly recommend this house and will be coming to visit again!

Beautiful setting - peaceful with fabulous views. Lovely cottage - very comfortable. Greeted with fresh scones and a bottle of wine. Would definitely return.
