Lovely clean cottage with a well maintained hot tub. Location is good for exploring the local area. However, there was a few little things that were missing which would make this a 5 star review. There are limited tea/coffee/sugar sachets supplied, but no milk at all. Even the little UHT milks would make a lovely addition. After a long journey over, most people would appreciate a hot drink when they arrive with a drop of milk. Although we were told there was only one towel each beforehand, I do feel like an extra towel for use with the hot tub would add to the quality of the stay. Overall, it’s a nice cottage in a good location.

Definitely one of our top Airbnb stays. The property is really nice and the facilities excellent. Location was exactly what we were looking for: a very quiet, rural village with great walking routes but near enough to a town (Brampton) with shops and decent takeaways (especially the Star Anise). We had some great days out including north of the border. Hot tub was perfect for winding down after a day out. Hosts were really welcoming and made everything effortless. Anyone looking for a few days of peace and quiet should consider a stay

Perfect quiet location for getting away! House was perfect and the hot tub an absolute joy in the evenings! Despite being so close to the working farmyard it felt completely private and we could hear no noise at all throughout our stay.

Thank you so much for our stay - we had a lovely time. Sharon & Diccon met us on arrival and helped us check in, the barn was clean & tidy, fully equipped kitchen and the first place we’ve stayed with a decent high chair! We especially liked the hot tub which was great to sit out in the evening and look at the stars. Lovely surrounding areas, we felt right at home and would love to come back. We also loved being based on a working farm and our daughter especially liked watching Diccon gathering up the sheep! He even offered to let us see the lambing, which we would have loved to but we ended up with colds so didn’t want to pass anything on! Thank you so much for being great hosts & we hope to see you again soon!
