Situated only minutes from Kenmare town, this property forms part of 'The Lodges', a bijou development of only 15 houses surrounded by mature landscaping rolling gently down to the edge of the majestic Kenmare River- the perfect get away break. In its elevated, south-facing position , No. 1 The Lodges is a bright, spacious house beautifully finished throughout by its interior designer owner and enjoys particularly enviable views of the very beautiful Kenmare Bay and the surrounding mountains.

Our stay in Rhona’s house was wonderful! Beautiful setting, comfortable furnishings, spacious and nothing lacking! Close to town and a comfortable stay away from home! Will definitely be back!!

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in Rhona's Haus. Alles war perfekt. Die große Küche war ein Traum. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Da auch das Wetter mitgespielt hat, konnten wir sogar den Garten nutzen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur 2 Autominuten entfernt, ins Zentrum von Kenmare läuft man ca. 10 Minuten. Als wir eine Frage an Rhona hatten, hat sie sofort geantwortet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Probably the best AirBnB we’ve stayed at. Such a nice space. Very relaxing. Rhona, was incredibly responsive. Kids loved it.

The nearest airports are Kerry Airport (50mins) and Cork Airport (1hr 30mins) and the nearest train stations - Killarney and Rathmore (both approx 40mins). Kenmare is not particularly well serviced with public transport with only an infrequent bus service available, therefore a car is essential.
Vehicles may be parked in the driveway of the house or in the public visitor spaces located in the estate just below the house.
