Newly designed accommodation, Il Rifugio dei Poeti has been completely renovated and exquisitely furnished. It’s located just a few steps away from the banks of the Arno River and the famous Ponte Vecchio. When staying with us, you'll find a cozy and comfortable space, where attention to detail blends perfectly with the rich history and charm of Florence. Il rifugio dei poeti is located on the second floor, without an elevator, of a typical ancient building on Via dei Vanni, just a few steps away from the banks of the Arno River and the famous Ponte Vecchio. Recently and beautifully renovated, with the preservation of the original wooden ceilings typical of Florentine homes and exposed stone walls, the apartment is tastefully furnished with attention to detail and comfort, creating a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern functionality. The accommodation can accommodate up to 4 people who wish to travel together without sacrificing their privacy (for example, a couple with children, two couples, two coworkers, or a small group of friends) and is equipped with all the features that will make your vacation unforgettable. Upon entering the apartment through a reinforced door, you immediately access the living area, the heart of the home and conviviality. Illuminated by a large skylight (with the option to darken and open it), this open-space area consists of a lounge area characterized by every type of comfort (air conditioning, a comfortable designer sofa, and a 50" Smart TV with 4K Ultra HD, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube to entertain even the youngest guests) and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes induction hob, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and various utensils. Complimentary assorted tea bags, herbal teas, and coffee capsules are also provided. A comfortable shabby chic-style table with elegant chairs allows you to enjoy breakfast, lunch, aperitifs, and dinners in complete tranquility. On the same level as the living area, you will find the main bedroom and the bathroom. The main bedroom consists of a double bed, rustic wooden chest of drawers, a mirror, and a spacious wardrobe. It is warm and welcoming, enriched with original details that make it a unique space. The bathroom features a spacious shower cabin, sink, bidet, toilet, and hairdryer. As for the traditional courtesy set, for ecological reasons, we have chosen to replace it with practical and spacious 100% Made in Italy dispensers of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. A staircase located in the living area leads to a bright loft that houses the second bedroom, also a double bedroom. Bed linen (cotton sheets, high-quality bedspreads, and duvets, with two pillows per person) and bathroom linen (towels, bidet towels, shower towels, and mats) are provided by us.
