The scattered village of Walford lies in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just two miles from the riverside town of Ross-on-Wye, on the northern edge of the Royal Forest of Dean. The historic market town of Ross-on-Wye has timbered Tudor buildings, a 17th century market hall and majestic bridges, together with shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. Stroll along the banks of the River Wye, take a river cruise or view the countryside from a hot-air balloon!
