We had a good stay at Daniel’s place! We stayed for two weeks while we waited to move into our new place. The location was about 10-15 min from most attractions. The inside of the airbnb was cute and had everything we needed. I had read the reviews before hand and had read that the location of the airbnb was in a sketchy area but we had no issues and didn’t feel unsafe. The location is in a gentrified area where you’ll see abandoned lots/houses but also new construction. A reviewer had also mentioned that the bathroom plumbing needed to be upgraded. It was upgraded during our stay and the shower works great now. There is a lot of ongoing construction outside the airbnb which did become a hassle as we at times would get stuck in the parking lot without being able to leave. Seems like they have mostly completed their pavement project. Daniel was awesome and let us check out a few hours later than the scheduled time. Overall we had a good stay!

I have mixed feelings with my stay in Daniel’s place, first of all he is a great host, friendly and responsive, we arrive early to San Antonio and Daniel allow us to check in a hour earlier, his apartment is pretty and have what you need for a short stay, but it is a reality that the house needs maintenance and deep cleaning, on the other hand the neighborhood is close to Alamo Heights but doesn’t look like Alamo heights, although we felt insecure, abandoned houses around, homeless people around and stray animals, without mentioning a constant weed smell around the apartment complex, unfortunately while walking around in the supermarket by the corner one of my companions was chased by a random person until we met again. Unfortunately Daniel has nothing to do with this but it’s just for travelers info to keep on mind.

My family and I were visiting due to a graduation at Ft Sam Houston. The unit was close to post and lots of restaurants. Daniel was a great host. Daniel was welcoming and provided additional accommodations for my family and I. Daniel kept an open line of communication prior to and during my stay. The personal touch and response time was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Daniel for future stays.

Great little apartment that is much nicer on the inside than out, but that's one of the wonderful things about Airbnb - hidden gems like Daniel's. It's really close to the airport and there's a Walmart right across the street, so that worked out great for us. The shower is super, with strong, very hot water. Lush towels, a comfortable sofa -- all you need for an escape to San Antonio.

Great place to stay. I enjoyed having so many things to do/eat within 10-15 minutes of the place. Local Walmart within 2 minutes which is very helpful. Place was very clean and the host is so amazing at responding with any questions and concerns. All rooms were stocked with necessities.
