Alpine Escape is a powder hound's ski in/out dream, literally about AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET get to Buttercup Chairlift (now operating 7 days/week)! A true mountain retreat, adjacent to hiking/biking trails in the secluded Clearwater neighborhood, it's perfect for those looking for a serene getaway. Thrill-seekers + relaxers alike will enjoy the comforts of a private hot tub, wood fireplace, private patio w/ BBQ, spa-like ensuite, full-size washer/dryer, + attached garage. Alpine Escape is spacious, functional, and well-equipped for relaxing and as homebase for exploring Tamarack Resort and the surrounding area. Maximum occupancy is 6 people. PRIMARY BEDROOM: King Bed + Ensuite Bathroom GUEST BEDROOM 1: Queen Bed + Jack & Jill Bathroom GUEST BEDROOM 2: Two Twin Beds + Jack & Jill Bathroom OPEN FLOOR PLAN Open concept main level features a full bath, fully equipped kitchen for your cooking and baking needs, cozy living area with a wood fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and plenty of windows to take in the scenic mountain views. PRIMARY BEDROOM Enjoy the comforts of your King bed and relax in the spa-like ensuite, complete with a large soaker tub and separate shower. The primary bedroom is upstairs on the second floor. GUEST BEDROOM #1 Queen bedroom with Jack & Jill Bathroom and walkout access to the hot tub. Both guests bedrooms are downstairs in the daylight basement. GUEST BEDROOM #2 Two Twin bedroom connecting to Jack & Jill bathroom, and has walkout access to the hot tub. A full-sized laundry room with in-unit washer/dryer is also located on this level. OUTDOOR LIVING Alpine Escape has an exceptionally private covered back patio on the main level, overlooking peaceful alpine forest; it's the perfect place to start your day with coffee and the sounds of nature, or you have a cookout on the gas BBQ grill. A soak in your private hot tub is the ideal way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain. EXTRA AMENITIES *Smart TVs in each bedroom *Stay essentials (ie: shampoo/conditioner, soaps, detergents, coffee + filters, etc.)

The House was very clean and comfortable. Access to Buttercup Chair lift was incredible but it was only open for the weekend so that was disappointing. This property was nice.
This property was everything we could hope for! Spacious, clean, perfect location, extremely well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the day! Excellent communication as well! And ski in ski out with a lift across from the house has spoiled me!! We will be back!
Will definitely stay again! Skied in and out from the buttercup lift which was a blast. Downstairs was super quiet which was great for our toddler to nap and sleep. Very clean, well equipped with everything you need on vacation, would recommend!
Host was very responsive and attentive to our questions about the property. As we have a 17 month old, they were super helpful with equipping the property with a high chair and pack n play. Additionally, they added the extra touch of having a few toys for the kids and children's books as well! Listing was very accurate, the place had all we needed in the kitchen to cook our own meals, we couldn't get any closer to the lift at Tamarack with it right outside the driveway and the place felt very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay with this host and at this property again.
Great location in Tamarack, and can walk across the street to ski lift. Nice cabin, clean, well appointed and quiet location with great scenery. Beds and accommodations were very comfortable.

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. RECOMMENDATIONS:
*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.
*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.
*If you're traveling in winter or you plan to enjoy the many off-roading adventures available in Valley County, we HIGHLY recommend a 4WD vehicle.
