We had a lovely couple of nights stay at Clare's Christmas cottage. Clare was very friendly and welcoming and let us in and showed us around when we arrived. Then she was quick to answer any questions we had while we were settling in! The cottage is gorgeous and was just what we needed, really clean and tidy, brand new and modern, and was very cosy too! it had everything we needed! We went to the Duncombe Arms for dinner which we highly recommend! We will definitely be back, thanks Clare!
absolutely perfect stay for me and partner and our dog. Clare greeted us on arrival and she went above and beyond with the little treats she left for us and our dog. very clean and beautifully decorated. we felt at home and there was a lovely local pub in the village walking distance. will definitely recommend.
From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Clare greeted us upon on our arrival, very friendly and helpful, gave us a brief tour of Christmas cottage. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. Also provided we're eggs from the farm next door, milk and bread. Sky TV and a comfy sofa to relax on was perfect after our long drive, and a super comfy bed made for a great night's sleep. The pictures do not do the decor justice, it's perfectly presented and worth every penny, and it's only a 20 minute drive to Alton towers 😀 We will definitely book again when we return to the area.
We really enjoyed our stay at Clares cottage! The cottage was very homely and had all the essentials we needed for a relaxing stay. Clare went above and beyond as a host providing us with a hamper on arrival and even giving us local recommendations. Would definitely recommend to others :) x
The stay was just what we needed. The finish inside is to a very high standard and Clare was superb. Very generous on the arrival gifts which included 3x small bottle of wine and a large pack of sausages and bacon from the local butcher. The bed was super comfortable and the shower hot.
