Such a perfectly located place for exploring the fabulous Winchester- super close to the station and only a couple of minutes walk into town with its restaurants, shops etc. Our group of 5 friends had a super time here!
Claire’s house was beautiful and exactly as described on the listing. It was in a brilliant location, within walking distance to the centre of Winchester and amazing restaurants and bars. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a nice meal, and the bedrooms were beautifully styled and beds comfortable. I would recommend Claire’s house to anyone looking to visit Winchester.
many thanks to Claire and Terry for a wonderful stay. The Old Brewery Boardroom is a hidden gem. The place was beautifully clean and fabulously decorated. Bed linen, pillows and mattress all high quality. Spiral staircase looks beautiful, but be aware if you have difficulty with stairs, it would be a challenge. It was not a challenge for us, and it looks gorgeous in the front room. Would suggest slightly clearer instructions on finding the entrance. 5 min walk into the town as advertised which was so convenient. Be mindful there is a pub next door, which was no issue for us at all, but if you have small children you may want to be aware, as it was a little noisy on the Saturday night (but that I think was to do with the rugby match). It was not at all too noisy for us. The Interior of the property has been very thought through, and you feel at home straight away. The 3 bedrooms are all absolutely gorgeous. We would highly recommend this place for a week or weekend stay. thanks again!
