Total peace and quiet is guaranteed! Our 2 Bhk villa The Sugandhim is located in Village Bijrauli which falls on a side road off the main road to Jungaliagaon, Bhimtal, District Nainital. It is approx 1.5 km(10 mins)from the Naukuchiatal lake, 5 km(20 mins) from Bhimtal lake, 9 km(30 mins) from Sattal lakes, 25 km(45 mins) from Nainital, 24 km(45 mins) from Kainchi Dham, 25 km(50 mins) from Mukteshwar and 35 km (55 mins) from Haldwani. There is one small kirana store nearby (200 metres) and bigger market near Hanuman mandir (1 km). All shops shut down after 8 pm. Eatries also close by 9 pm. Main road from Bhimtal to Naukuchiatal is narrow and broken/bumpy in some patches. *Approach to the villa from main road ( 150 feet) IS STEEP AND REQUIRES AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER and preferably AN SUV or powerful sedan. Low ground clearance cars must be avoided. Please clarify this before booking. Inside the gate there is ample parking for many cars. You can cook in the equipped kitchen on your own for a small convenience fee of 200 Rs per day for the LPG gas, fridge, utensils, lighter,RO etc. (There are no charges if all meals are ordered in). Or the caretaker can cook all meals for you for 300 rs per day ( 200 rs convenience fee+ 100 rs cooking charge). You need to get all raw materials for the food or pay the caretaker to get all raw materials to prepare the meals. These charges need to be paid in cash to the caretaker and acknowledged with us on given number please. Food can be ordered and delivered at home by Balaji restaurant nearby. The caretaker will not be washing guests clothes or clean guests vehicles etc. Cooking non veg is not allowed but can be ordered in. Alcohol consumption is allowed (discreetly). A clothes iron is available but there is no washing machine. Caretaker has his own 1 room set and will be entering/exiting from Iron staircase outside the villa and not from inside. Main bedroom on ground floor has 1 king bed for 2 people and a bay window bed for 1 person (total 3 persons) and 2nd bedroom on 1st floor has 1 king size bed for 2 people. There is TV and TATASKY coonection with baisc package . There is a veranda on ground floor and a large balcony with a jhoola, table, chairs on the 1st floor. 2nd floor is open roof. Best suited for 4 people, 5th person usually adjusts on the bay window bed. After 4 persons, extra persons pay Rs 800 per person per day in cash to the caretaker. CHILDREN ABOVE 5 YEARS WILL BE required to pay the same extra charge of 800 Rs per day)( PLEASE NOTE THIS before booking). Extra mattresses and blankets can also be made available Bedsheets and pillow covers will be changed just like in your own home , meaning every 3 or 4 days. Blankets and quilts are aired and dusted after every guest, dry cleaned once in 3- 4 months. Only simple small size soap (MEDIMIX) and towels are provided as toiletries ( no shampoo/shower gel/facecream/shower caps etc). Heaters will be provided in winters (at no extra charge). There is no seperate room/bathroom for the driver. Driver may use the caretaker room and bathroom( and use own toiletries). Entire villa will be yours alone. Gardner will also come and do his work discreetly. Pet friendly, but do not allow pets onto the beds, blankets and sofa/chairs or run in the the farm/vegetables patches etc(Damage will attract a fine). Check out is by 9 am and check in not before 12 noon( due to additional cleaning/sanitation). Assistance will be provided by our property manager Rohit who lives separately, 4 km away (e.g. names of hotels/restaurants, woodcutter,phone numbers, menus, directions, route, emergency medical help, vehicle assistance, cabs, home delivery of meals, trekking, paragliding, horse riding boating, kayaking, zorbing, museum visit, temple visits etc ). Bonfire place is in the lawn and wood can be ordered (requested) from a local wood cutter at a charge of Rs 700 approx( to be paid to him directly). Medium volume music can be played discreetly upto 10-10.30 pm( even that sounds very loud there!). Phone number of wood cutter will be provided. The wifi is fast and free (50 mbps/Airtel) and connected to invertor backup.All mobile networks work well there.
