The cabin was perfect for a weekend full of outdoor adventures. We had a short power outage for a one afternoon, but we were easily able to make do with the grill provided and outdoor space to hang out in. The hosts were extremely responsive and always helped us with anything that came up. We would definitely recommend this cabin to those visiting the area.

This location is central to great outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. Ponca is very small town with few amenities, but is clean, friendly, and surrounded by beauty. The cabin was easy to find but there was an unexpected concrete building next door. There was some light traffic noise during the day but everything was quiet and peaceful at night. The outside of the cabin is weathered and needs some updating but the inside is clean, tidy, and has lots of unique decor and good quirkiness. Based on our circumstances, we were pleased with the sleeping arrangements which gave privacy to each family group. Perhaps inconvenient, the second bathroom accessible via the outside, was different and fun. After long hikes, we enjoyed recovery time in the creek running along the back of the property. The hosts did a great job of thinking through what to provide to make the stay easy and enjoyable. The few suggestions we had were graciously received. We look forward to staying again.
