It pains me to write a negative review. I’ve been a supporter of ABNB for years. We booked this location for proximity to family for a big Thanksgiving gathering. I appreciate perhaps the owners are new to ABNB, we did reach out and they were responsive, but this place could not have been more “bare bones”. PROS: Close to highways, grocery stores, and ability to bring our dog. CONS: Fence had giant holes we had to barricade, flat pillows, uncomfortable beds, lack of bedside tables/dressers/lamps without working bulbs, no exhaust fan for the oven, no hand soap for the bathrooms, no extra blankets. The microwave is in a cabinet w/o an outlet, the fridge was missing shelves and had old yogurt in it, 3 wine glasses for a house listed to hold 8 adults and ..possibly the worst: The brightest LED lighting with no dimmers - 0 points for coziness. A lot of wear & tear from dogs on furniture/bedding/walls/doors for such a new listing. I hope the owners can make some upgrades.

This is the worst Airbnb experience anyone in our party has ever had and I would not recommend them to anyone. There was no working water filter in the fridge. Food from a previous person was in the fridge. There was no hot water in the downstairs shower. There were cockroaches roaming around the house. The remote control for the primary tv was broken, the only channel we could watch on it was the news. The upstairs hallways bathroom started leaking into the hallway/kitchen. We were told to turn the water off upstairs, meaning we had only cold water showers downstairs remaining. Additionally, they said they'd said a plumber and never did. They offered us a discount, but it was not satisfactory to the misery of the trip. Later they offered us less money. All around an awful experience.

Home was nicely updated and overall comfortable. The hosts were mostly responsive. Did have minor issue that was resolved within a few days.
