My friend and I had a lovely stay at the For-est Retreat. We were lucky to be there before the trees fully leafed out and were able to enjoy a panorama of mountains from this private, roomy, comfortable home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The front and back decks and the views from them added to our peaceful stay. Eric was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with.

This little cabin up on the mountain was an oasis for nature enthusiasts. My friends and I sat on the porch in the rocking chairs for majority of our weekend stay. All you could hear outside was birds and nature. The photos on this listing don’t do the place justice. The beds were comfortable too! Eric also provided a lot of local recommendations on things to do and places to eat which was really cool. I highly recommend this place. It would be a good place to bring your kiddos and doggos too!

Location was secluded, the house was clean and beautiful, and the pups loved the fenced in yard. Absolutely wonderful time. Can't wait to go back!

Eric's place is absolutely amazing. The pictures cannot do justice to how beautiful the place looks. The yard is fenced in and allowed for both of our dogs to run around and have fun. It was the first time our puppy saw snow and was truly memorable. We would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere off the beaten path. It is close enough to nearby attractions for those that are looking for things to do but secluded enough to provide peace of mind for those that are looking for a more relaxed visit. If you are not familiar with driving on mountain roads, I would recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with good tires. The home is truly worth the effort. We had a great time at Eric's place and would definitely stay again in the future. You should not pass up the chance to stay here is you can!!
