Sit back and relax in this peaceful space close to the River Dee surrounded by beautiful scenic walks, cycling paths and nature. Dine outside on the private patio area on sunny days or sit in the porch overlooking the bird feeders and green space, soaking up the sound of the burn as it rushes down towards the river. Great location on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park for sightseeing Scottish Castles, lochs, hillwalking, fishing, golfing, adventures and so much more. Dog friendly Daisy cabin is a beautiful compact home for two adults with light spacious living room, bedroom and porch overlooking a secluded tree lined area our large garden. The kitchen is compact yet fully equipped, note the shower room has a sloped ceiling so if you’re tall you’ll need to duck! Private entrance and patio area with dining area leads to small garden at the rear with picnic table, ideal for pets.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to escape to and relax. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back in the future. There’s a beautiful waterfall just a few minutes walk away and long forest and river walks ideal for dogs. The cabin has everything you need, it’s very cosy and homely. Thank you again to Fiona, she was fantastic and answered all our questions.

Such a beautiful place to stay, in a stunning location. Everything you need is catered for, nothing is too much trouble for Fiona and Colin. First time we have stayed in the area, loved it so much we have booked again in December.
Superb, absolutely superb. Loved every minute of our stay. Friendly hosts. Beautiful location. Extremely quirky and fashionable interior. Superbly kitted out. A great space for the dog too. She could wander around the courtyard freely, sniffing to her hearts content. Wish we could have stayed longer ❤️
We needed a cosy hideaway for a few days to escape busy life, and that's exactly what we got! Fiona's place had everything we needed. It was a very rainy weekend, but the cabin stayed cosy.

We are your only neighbours in Bridge Cottage and try not to disturb guests if we can help it but please feel free to say hello or knock on the door should you need us. We are otherwise fortunate to only have wildlife for neighbours so you should enjoy waking only to bird song or the sound of the burn running.
Private parking is at the entrance of Daisy Cabin.
Buses run hourly to Aboyne, Ballater and Braemar or to Banchory or Aberdeen and they will simply stop and pick you up from the main road directly opposite Bridge Cottage.
Ample walking and cycling paths.
