A cosy stay in this little cottage. Lots of wood which was a bonus. Would have benefitted from a little more in the kitchen and some basic items such as a hairdryer. Log fire wonderful and bed very comfy. Very useful to have a washer and dryer, though do be aware there’s no dishwasher or wifi - which wasn’t a problem for me. Overall a good stay in a nice location

After reading some of the previous reviews I wasn’t expecting the cottage to be as nice as it was. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped , except it was missing a teapot, which for me is a must. It was good to have a washing machine and dryer to use. I had not realised that there was no WiFi, ( my fault) as we are so used to it being available everywhere, however it didn’t spoil our holiday and I read instead of surfing the net, it was probably a good thing. The bed was comfy and warm but the stairs are steep and could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Also the bathroom is a tight fit but we managed . Outside of the back of the cottage could do with a weeding and the car parking space is tight, but overall everything was fine for us, a very peaceful and relaxing place.
