Paul was a great host. We flew in from a long-haul flight early and Paul was very gracious in letting us check in early so we could shower and get straight to work. The place was lovely, clean, and large, with a nice outdoor area if you choose to sit outside. The only things I would complain about is the neighbors, letting the self-closing doors slam instead of trying to close them quietly, although this is totally out of Paul's control. And the bed was a bit small, it was a double and we are used to a King, again, out of Paul's control. Overall, I have stayed here twice and would definitely recommend to others, and we would definitely stay again too!!!

Great location and easily accessible. For the price I would recommend a queen size bed. The double bed was very basic and for the price point and unit it was disappointing considering getting a comfortable sleep is also a significant part of travel. I don’t believe it is cost prohibitive to upgrade to a queen bed. With the double bed it is more suited to a solo traveller.

Paul’s place was a wonderful base from which to explore the city, even without a car. Great bus and ferry access. And lots of good cafes and bars in walking distance with which to start and end the day. We appreciated being able to do laundry too.
