Unobstructed views over river Nith valley rural but less than a mile to A75 and just 2 miles to Dumfries town centre. Completely refurbished with many new items. The house was warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and it had everything we needed. It's in a quiet location with great views from the living room out to the fields and hills behind the house, where you can see deer and, in winter when we visited, hundreds of geese. It's within walking distance of a Tesco Express and is a short drive from Dumfries, which was ideal for us. We would definitely stay again.
Meadowbank Annexe was a very comfortable,warm and welcoming house. The setting was peaceful with attractive views towards the hills. The interior was immaculate. Rodney was a very helpful host both prior to our arrival and during our stay. We much appreciated the welcoming tray of biscuits, tea and coffee. We shall certainly return.
I had the pleasure of being the first guest here, everything brand new and spotlessly clean. Rodney and his wife were very friendly and they have a lovely spot with great views. The annexe is spacious and yet cozy. The homegrown tomatoes and homemade shortbread were such a nice touch. Thank you!
