In fact, this apartment is co-located above one of Alexandria's newest Steak & Seafood restaurant 1799 PRIME, from which you can have lunch or dinner brought directly to the apartment! Walk or ride the Free Trolley to the King Street Metro to access public transit into Downtown DC. Guests will have dedicated access to the entire apartment. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Each bedroom contains a queen-size bed. Fully equipped kitchen to prepare and serve meals. Washer and Dryer located within the unit. Living Room area contains a Smart TV loaded with all current Apps. Upstairs loft area contains a dedicated workspace with a large desk.

Willie was a kind, helpful and supportive host. A plus for outsiders to the US and the neighbourhood. We enjoyed the roomy space and being able to unwind in style. The apartment is wonderfully positioned for walking around, visiting restaurants and being in the hub of things
Great place and close to many attractions
We really enjoyed our stay! There is a free trolley that runs the entire length of King Street from the metro to the harbor. This makes getting to the house from the Metro extremely easy. (also a King st circular bus that is free) We were traveling with a 6 year old and also my 70 year old mum who has some minor mobility issues. She was fine with the walk to the trolley and then to the metro! This place is easy to access on the 2nd floor. There is a bedroom and bathroom on one level (again, for my mum) after the flight up into the apt. All of Alexandria can hear planes fly in/out of Reagan, so keep that in mind if it's warm and you'd like to open the windows. We didnt mind at all, the "city sounds" were like white noise! Also, if you have kids, you might want to bring child proof cups/plates. Or buy disposable stuff at CVS. We did instacart delivery from Wegmans and it was easy and convenient. charming old house with nice natural light, good working space in a safe hood!

We really enjoyed Willie’s place! It was the perfect spot for a couple’s trip with great friends! A convenient location & Willie was a great host who was always responsive. We would definitely stay here again

Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, you will be 1-block from dozens of shops, restaurants and entertainment outlets. Although you are close to the buzz and charm of King St, this unit is tucked away in a quiet and unique space. Easy access to public transportation and only 4 miles from downtown DC and other major Historic sites.
Metered street parking is available but is very limited and restricted during the day. Paid parking garages are available just across the street. Price varies.
The King Street Trolley is a FREE trolley that runs between the Waterfront and King Street Metro Station and allows passengers to hop on/off at any point in between. Access downtown DC via Metro or a quick Uber/Lyft ride.
