We had a great weekend here. The house is very nice, very clean and newly renovated inside but with many interesting touches and the interior of the building was full of character. The inside was nicer than the pictures even! The house has all the amenities you would expect and the kitchen is extremely well stocked for a rental. The house is situated on a beautiful peaceful inlet with its own dock. There are kayaks which we took out and went up the inlet and saw many birds. The house is right on the water with an amazing view from the sunroom. The house is walking distance from a great restaurant- Mirroir. Very close driving to some cute towns over the bridge with some beaches. I would definitely recommend this place!

Our stay at Locklies inlet was wonderful from start to finish. Cornelia was an excellent host and promptly responded to a few questions. The house is exactly as pictured with clean, comfortable furniture. The water views, dock and the variety of song birds and seabirds added to our stay. The house and kitchen were very well stocked and the beds were so comfortable. We look forward to retuning! Carol B.

My family and I have nothing but great things to say about Cornelia’s place! She was always quick to respond and gave great recommendations. Check in process was super easy and house was very clean. It’s exactly like the photos with beautiful views! We had a great time with our family and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend staying here to anyone considering this waterfront cottage!

Amazing place, fantastic stay and superb host. We’re definitely coming back!!! Ideal for a romantic getaway yet can easily accommodate larger, family gatherings. The house is spacious and cozy. Great location on a small peninsula with greater than 180° water views. Top shelf recent renovations, beautiful great room with fireplace adjacent to an open kitchen with all the amenities pristine, bedrooms comfortable beds and bathrooms with a spectacular view of sunrise over the water. morning coffee in the front room, felt like we were on a boat without the rocking. The pictures do not and cannot fully convey the ambience of the interior, nor the serenity of the water views and wildlife from the yard ( great fire pit, private, dock,and canoes). Merroir Tasting room , a short 3 minute walk from the house , serves an outstanding variety of fresh oysters . I rarely write reviews but this place is special and far exceeds what pictures can convey .
