Bowens house was very beautiful and a very comfortable place to stay at. Bowen left clear instructions on just about everything. The one thing that was a little disappointing was the fact that we weren't allowed to use the hottub after 9pm. Other than that it was great. I would definitely choose to stay there again if it works.

Our family of seven adults and an infant had plenty of space to enjoy our holiday time together at Bowen’s place. It’s a spacious house, with generous space for family, meals, cooking together, playing games, and watching movies. The home is well-equipped, clean and cared for and we appreciated the hot tub and nice outdoor gardens. An extra bonus for us was to be within walking distance of shopping and neighborhood parks and trails. Thanks Bowen!

We had a great time and Bowen was very nice, responsive and flexible with letting us check in early as well as check out late. That is a huge help when travelling by ferry. We were from 3 different locations so having that flexibility was fantastic, thank you, Bowen :) The home is great, it would be even better in summer with the beautiful yard spaces and pool. The couple things I will say to watch out for is, it is an older home with a ton of stairs going different ways. My aunt fell in the main entry way. She was ok but it scared all of us and we were very careful after that. There was way too much dust on the lights and around the home. In areas that are easily missed when cleaning but it is such a bright home with a lot of windows so it really showed at certain times of the day. More toilet paper and paper towels would have been nice to have but there is a store close by. Other than that it was fantastic, pool table, ping pong and hot tub were great!

The place is a bit dated but the photos are fairly accurate of this accomodation. However, the photos do not show that there are steps up into the entry, the kitchen and more steps up to the bedrooms. Also the shower in the main bathroom has steps to step down into it. We had 3 elderly family members with us and all of these steps were difficult for them. Bowen was aware of the age of some of the guests, so it would have been a good idea for him to pass that on. Also the place was dusty. The floors and furniture could have used a cleaning before our arrival. If a cleaning fee is being charged, the accomadation should be spotless on arrival. Quiet location about a 20 minute drive from downtown.
