Second stay and couldn't be more pleased. The location and views of the ocean are great!
Chris and Chérie were fantastic communicators A+ and the property was great! We love that it was pet friendly although we didn’t bring our dog this time we would consider it in the future. We were surprised that it was a duplex but the sound wasn’t a problem (we did hear the neighbors dogs barking but it wasn’t very often, and you could hear the murmur of voices faintly but never intrusive during sleep time). The view of the sunset and the access to the beach was amazing ! Everything was very clean. It did feel like a beach house with the typical where and Rust that salt air causes on metal fixtures, but the kitchen was clean and very functional, as were the bathrooms. The beds were really comfortable and the linens were great. I would definitely stay here again If you do stay here, make sure to make it to Stacks pancake House !
Had everything we needed there for an enjoyable stay on the sand.
Wish I could post the pix of wrinkled sheets, knawed mouldings, and overall very poor maintenance of the place. Chris claimed he watched the sheets being laundered, and offered another cleaning, but WHY was there sand at the foot of TWO beds??? Fully and completely disgusting, and we chose to do a full cleaning and laundering ourselves, rather than trust the cleaners who gave us a night without sleep. Left a day early as it was just too disgusting, especially after the cigar smokers rolled onto the shared deck. This was a grotesque experience, at a 5-star location. I may never use AirBnB again. Chris offered some compensation IN RETURN FOR MY SILENCE or A POSITIVE REVIEW. Unbelievable to even suggest a positive review. Guessing others have taken him up on this, which is how we got there. AirBnB should FULLY return our money. Sooooo disgusting.
chris was an incredible host. super responsive and friendly. location was great, but Chris was really the icing on the cake, good dude, great host, happily book it again.
