Tiny Sophie is a tiny home for hiding in nature but with easy access to the beach. Spend your days exploring the bounty of treasures along the Sapphire Coast, whale watch, surf and eat exceptional seafood before retiring to your tiny house on the hill. Thoughtfully designed so that you can lie in bed with a panoramic view of Merimbula Lake and the ocean. Into the Wild Escapes is a collection of 48 off-grid tiny homes located in beautiful, remote locations across Australia. Tiny Sophie sleeps up to four with a Queen bed in the window and a double bed in the loft. There is also a reverse-cycle air-conditioner and heating unit. We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. There are normal 240-volt power points in this house, but please don't try to charge large devices.

Great stay at Tiny Sophie. We especially loved the view and the surrounding bush. The location was great - a nice balance between seclusion and accessibility to local amenities and beautiful beaches. Would recommend!
What a stunning location and a beautiful view to wake up to. This place is so adorable and cosy - and surprisingly well appointed with its tiny kitchen. The location is wonderful - it’s close to Merimbula and it’s great beaches, cafes and restaurants. Tiny Sophie has pretty much everything you need to be comfortably off grid for a few days - we loved disconnecting from the city and relaxing surrounded by beautiful bush land and the occasional wandering cow. Note, the property is not easily accessible with a 2 wheel drive car which caught us off guard. The driveway is steep, heavily rutted and slippery and can only really be traversed on foot or with an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive car. If you want to use the fire pit, you apparently need to order firewood - which would have been useful to know in advance.
Great stay!
The place is perfect for two people to stay comfortably. It’s advertised as sleeps 4 but I feel that would be too crowded. Everything was clean and easy to use and the view is absolutely stunning. Definitely should have said something about the drive in. The last few hundred metres is completely washed out, with erosion gullies as deep as the wheels, and almost impassable. Luckily we had a Ute so wasn’t an issue but anything smaller and I think we would’ve been in trouble! Would very happily return.
Great stay with our 2 young kids. It was nice to stay ‘in the wild’ yet be so close to the beach and small coastal towns. We saw plenty of wildlife and the view was amazing!
