You’re also welcome to spend time at the beach, with Morecambe Bay and the Arnside and Silverdale AONB within 20 miles. Set out over two storeys, this space has been optimised to ensure that it’s always filled with light and utterly cheerful. Find heating underfoot on the ground floor, a necessity when it comes to stays throughout the colder Cumbrian months. There’s a lounge downstairs that’s designed to suit every season, complete with French doors leading out to the enclosed garden for the summer and a wood burner to pack full of logs throughout the winter. Three bedrooms are found alongside an en-suite and a family bathroom here on the ground floor, whilst an additional master bedroom sits beside a mezzanine lounge just upstairs. Outdoors, along with the private garden and never-ending farmland, there’s a converted stable with table tennis. Just 2.5 miles along the River Lune, Kirkby Lonsdale is your nearest town with great independent shopping, a beloved market and the scenic Devil’s Bridge (2 miles) that’s a real must-see. The town is perched on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales with plenty of walks to be embarked on from here, including a route to Ingleton (7 miles) to embark on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail.
