Come unwind at our mountaintop cabin! Whether it’s the soaking tub on the back of our porch, the hammock or swing, our giant firepit, or the big comfy bed in the loft, you’ll want to sit, sip, snuggle and tell tall tales as the sun sets and the stars come out. Second small bedroom doubles as an office. A gas stove twinkles inside while an antique spiral staircase adds elegance. Fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, and Starlink to provide tip-top connectivity. We’re kid friendly and dog positive too! King-sized bed in the loft, a separate bedroom with a daybed that extends to two single beds, as well as a couch and chaise lounge downstairs that could work for your young 'uns. Office set up with Starlink internet. Full-sized and fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor barbeque grill. Washing machine and drier at your disposal. We provide wood for the firepit, though you're welcome to bring your own too. Gas stove in the main room as well as air-conditioning in the summer swelter.

Came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday as just us and our dog, and what a perfect quiet getaway! The view from the back porch was pure bliss. Loved the natural lighting throughout the home, and the bath tub of course. Can’t wait to come back!
This was a fabulous mountain getaway! Very peaceful, feels remote. The outdoor spaces are so inviting, and THAT TUB is fantastic! There's something really special about bathing under the stars. We loved being able to watch the sunset from the back of the cabin and the sunrise from the front. We also loved the kitchen, the chaise longue, the hammock chair. And the bed was super comfortable! A few things to be aware of: -The spiral staircase felt difficult to navigate even as able-bodied people. We left all luggage downstairs, because we couldn't imagine trying to take it up and back down. -There are no curtains on the windows. This doesn't feel like a problem, because of the remote location, but keep in mind there are neighbors to one side. (The sleeping areas are private.) -One lamp in the living room was on a timer... don't let it scare you like it did us if it pops on by itself! Overall, highly recommended! PS - go get the burger from Farmer's Daughter!!
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! It was comfortable and very well appointed. Lots of privacy with plenty of seating options on the wrap around deck to enjoy the views. A good portion of the deck was screened in. The perfect place for us to get away. Highly recommend!
Had a nice stay here with the family. Quiet, cozy place, perfect to get away and sit by the fire. Not much in the surrounding area - mostly farmland. Place was exactly as described, no surprises, with a check in / out process as about as easy as it gets. Very clean, too.

This is a very quiet neighborhood with about a dozen other cabins on the mountain, all of them private and clean. There is a horse farm at the bottom of the gravel road so you'll pass by several curious horses and cows on the way up to the cabin!
Plenty of free parking. The gravel road up to the cabin is a little rough but we drive it daily in our Toyota Prius, so it doesn't require a 4x4 monster truck or anything. This is country living, so lots of wilderness around but nothing is walkable. We've had a bald-eagle land on the property. Deer are daily visitors. Many woodpeckers. Hounds kept by a neighbor lower in the valley behind the house -- they can't be seen, they're so far downhill -- do lend their voices to provide a bit of a serenade whenever their breakfast and dinner times are near.

I'm a lawyer by day and storyteller by night. I'm French Canadian/Vietnamese from Montreal. I lived in several cities in Canada, the US, Uzbekistan, Germany, and Saigon. For the past two years I toured with my solo storytelling show "Sadec 1965: A Love Story." I run, hike, kayak and fly paragliders. I love the outdoors. My husband and I have a big beautiful doggo named Achilles.
