This sweet, unique, tiny house is located on Pigeon Lake, just 15 minutes from Shipshewana and the heart of Amish country, and 55 minutes from Notre Dame! It is beautiful in any season, and offers a quiet retreat for families or friends. Guests have lake access, and the public boat launch nearby. Paddle boat, kayaking, and fishing from the pier at the house are all available from this property. (Fishing gear not provided) After a day in Shipshewana, relax in the outdoor porch and fire pit area! This is a very open floor plan! The sunroom provides lots of seating with beautiful views of the lake through a glass garage door that can be easily opened to let in the fresh air and enjoy an unobstructed view of the lake! The kitchen/living room area also provide views of the lake, and space to lounge and enjoy a meal or cup of coffee. Unique to this property is a Murphy bed located in the living area. Simply pull down the bed and the living room becomes a bed room! Also unique to the property is a loft area which serves as a bedroom. It is easliy accessible by the ladder. *Children under 5 may need help and/or supervision when using the ladder. The bathroom provides a toliet, vanity, and stand up shower for your use. The backyard boasts plenty of room to fish from the pier or enjoy the evening with a fire in our fire pit. *we do not provide fishing poles or supplies, but feel free to bring your own! *Life jackets are provided with kayaks and the paddle boat. When you use the paddle boat or kayaks you assume responsibility for yourself in event of an accident.

It was the perfect retreat… an adorable little house with peaceful surroundings and a gorgeous lake. I loved the sunroom that opened up to the beautiful lake. It was fun riding the paddle boat. I enjoyed seeing the swan and eagles. I read a lot sitting on the porch, drove through the Amish country, shopped in Shipshewana and ate at the Blue Gate Restaurant and Vanilla Bean Creamery. I was surprised how comfortable the Murphy bed was and how easy it was to operate daily. I had a great time and hope to return. THANK YOU 😊

We were looking for a peaceful stress-free getaway and that is exactly what we got. The house was immaculately clean and up to date. There is also many different restaurants within about 20 minutes. There was even plenty for us to do without leaving the location. We brought our fishing poles and fished off the bank, kayaked, and sat enjoying the beautiful view. I highly recommend this place for someone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life or someone just looking for rest and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a great find. Only issue, which I missed, was that the main bed was upstairs. Very tight for a bigger guy like me, but the Murphy bed worked just as well. Could be tight for four adults, but overall it was a great stay and we’d definitely go back.

This property is located right on the lake! Only 15 minutes from the heart of Amish country in Shipshewana. We are also located just 20 minutes from Middlebury, In which boasts several great restaurants including the Das Dutchman Essenhaus! We are just 55 minutes from Notre Dame, so you can spend the day tailgating and catching a game!
There is plenty of parking space available at the house.
Feel free to bring your bikes and ride around the lake, or take them into Shipshewana or Middlebury and hop on the Pumpkinvine Trail for beautiful scenic riding!
You also have access to the public boat launch if you bring your own watercraft. This is a no wake lake, with a speed limit of 5mph, so please be mindful of that! We have a paddleboat and kayaks available for use in the spring-fall, along with lifejackets for up to 4 people, but feel free to bring your own as well. Swimming/Floating is available off the pier. As with any lake, please use caution & have children wear life vests.
